How do you "take back" something you haven't really lost? Every succeeding generation of American "loses" America in the same sense we lost who we were yesterday, last month, last year. We're not a stagnant, silted, algae covered pond, one of those marshy pools you see around Jersey that was a small lake 75 years ago, & whoever owned it stopped dredging it or sold it to indifferent land speculators.
