Regis retiring
Regis Philbin say he's retiring. From "Live with Regis and Kelly." But is he retiring from television? I used to tune in on occasion after Kelly joined, before she became anorexic. She always looked great right after she had babies. I learned about the first 9/11 attack when I turned on the TV just before 9 am to watch the show.

We will miss you Regis, that is wonderful for someone to retire and be happy with your decision. Only that person can make the decision to do what you are doing. Don’t let anyone change your mind you deserve it. This is all about you.

Regis was ND class of 1953. We met him on a Friday night in South Bend before a ND game a few years back. He autographed a football for us. I always loved this photo of Reeg modeling the Notre Dame blazer. Maybe I'll get one of those jackets when I turn 65.
