spring peepers

We got home last week from my Sister In-Law's home in rural western PA. Every evening the Spring Peepers peeped and the mosquitos bit.
Alas, I didn't hear any peepers in Rahway, and I was being bitten by the exotic Asian Tiger mosquito.
