asparagus soup
A nice tenant on the first floor attends a church with a monthly food pantry, bringing an elderly woman from this building to it. Whatever they don't want, they leave on the radiator by the steps. I've seen some odd food left there. Today's the oddest. There was a box of organic multigrain oat cereal, a five pound bag of grits, two jars of imported Indian mango chutney, & powdered white cheddar asparagus soup from Plentiful Pantry in a cute take-out style box with a handle. Plentiful Pantry is a Utah-based company that sells its products online & at specialty food stores & is not cheap. I have no idea how the church obtains these items. I took the soup.
