If Rutgers football can play Howard & Texas Southern, why don't they try to schedule Princeton? Some tradition in that mismatch at least. Oh yeah, beating Army at old Michie Stadium might not be a sure thing this season. & I'm an Army fan from way back.

Navy and Buffalo backed out of their previously scheduled commitments with Rutgers, and the AD had to fill the week with another team.
I guess Texas Southern was the only taker, although I bet that the AD (it was probably Mulcahy) didn't look hard enough.
Michie Stadium on a colorful Fall Saturday is a wonderful, delightful place.
