Tonight's Holiday Spirit Award

goes to the family around the corner with the Christmas tree twinkling in their living room. Too late now, but there should have been a campaign to keep outdoor holiday decorations lighted through the Inauguration.

I keep a strand of white lights that adorn my backyard fence lit year-round, carbon footprint be damned.

I also wish I was able to have a party on Jan. 20 to watch the inauguration on a big-screen TV. I had a guy stop by my office yesterday who thanked me for registering him to vote back in the fall. He was really proud to contribute to the election of BHO.
