I keep hoping the New York Times will fire Maureen Dowd while she's on vacation & replace her with Sarah Vowell.

Let's hope you're right. My wife is a big fan of Ms. Vowell's novels and Maureen Dowd's columns just read like the worst elite NYT stereotypes portrayed by the talk radio cretins.
Expect Maureen to write a snide column comparing Barack's new Hart Schaffner Marx tux to Henry Kissinger's & how it looks "off-the-rack" & will negatively impact his image in Europe.
