What's the over/under on the number of noreasters/hurricanes/tropical storms causing related damage to the Jersey Shore barrier islands over the next 25 years as sea levels rise?
I'd say a big one is overdue, hurricane or Nor'easter. But now I think a storm like '62 would do a lot more bayside flood damage to 45 years of lagoon prefabs. The McMansions on LBI probably stand up well to a storm. Unfortunately. Just spare the Seaside boardwalk is all I ask of the weather gods.
