Is that on the banks of the Wading River? The color of the river is the of tea because of the high iron content in the soil and water. For more info, check out the book Paddling the Jersey Pine Barrens.
It does look like the Pine Barrens. But it could also be a stock photo of somewhere else. In Boy Scouts, I would've been reprimanded for pitching a tent that close to a river, & having a fire that close to the tent.
