				Wow, back in the 60s, it looks like the motel owners just laid asphalt straight to the bay.  Now they sold it all for luxury housing.
I've only been to LBI once...probably 25 years ago. All I remember were swarms of greenheads and that I never planned on returning.

				On the aerial photo, the  new houses appear to be built on top of a pier. 
Greenheads are nasty flies, & snobby rich people eating avocado & sprouts. Both types abundant on LBI.
