Carnival-mediumWelcome to anyone visiting for the first time via the Carnival. Although I do write on matters concerning both politics & religion, a lot of that stuff is posted as commentary to other blogs focusing on those subjects. What I reach for in The Rix Mix is something more related to a journalistic poetry, or perhaps to music, or even to a boardwalk. Readers familiar with radio station WFMU will recognize the sensibility, which I had even before I was associated with anything that called itself "free form." If you randomly hit any of the monthly archives, you'll find yourself at another location in an on-going personal assemblage, & there will be some posts that transcend the occasion of their writing, a quality recommended by both Goethe & my late best mentor - joel oppenheimer.
